This is going to last a while. Check out the extreme -1400 on the TICK. Ouch!

Helpful Indicator?

The graph above shows the Nasdaq versus the NYSE average. I hadn't noticed before, but on market down days, there is a long red bar above the 4 dma on the ratio. Like many indicators the predictive capabilities remain to be seen. Still, I wrongly believed the Nasdaq to lead on the way down.

Out of short positions on commodities and reduced short on equities. Looking to re-establish positions soon.

Above is the Euro/USD over the last month. Are we seeing a strengthening of the dollar? Given the strong correlation, this does not bode well for stocks and commodities. I'm currently short the S&P Emini futures, gold, oil, and copper - with tight stops. Expecting a pull back for at least a week.
